ICT update

In our ICT class we are finishing our pascal assignments and now moving on to Visual Basic. I also have an update of 28 visits, 23 came from Canada 4 from America and 1 from India.

Last year two students in this course held a fund raiser to buy two XO laptops, these laptops have been designed for use of students in third world countries. They are given to students to take home where in some cases they might be only source of light. The class kept one laptop and the other was donated to the OLPC program.

The Xo contains many innovative features such as daylight visible screen, a flash drive, mech networking, and a large collection of pre-installed software.

Cellphones in class

My class participated in an online text Poll on the website www.polleverywhere.com.
We text on which answer we liked and the result ended up on the website. This could be useful in class because our teacher can use this to understand us better.

update

I used Wolfram Alpha to change to decimal to binary and to check my binary position which is 00101. I just recently signed up for Google Analytics and fused its tracking code to my blog site.
